From Burnout to Vitality: How to reduce stress and regain mastery over your mental health

This 90 minute workshop will help participants understand the signs of burnout and develop strategies that will help decrease the factors that lead to on-going stress cycles. The objectives of this workshop includes:

*Increasing your ability to identify the signs of burnout and how they are connected to the stress cycle

*Learning the skills necessary to mitigate burnout 

*Developing new patterns of behavior to increase vitality 

Productivity in the Workplace

Job burnout is a special type of work-related stress — a state of physical or emotional exhaustion that also involves a sense of reduced accomplishment and loss of personal identity.

Our personal lives and extraordinary circumstances can also contribute to burnout. There are times when stressors and intersect-our workload may increase at the same time that our personal or relational stress increases. 

The following factors may contribute to job burnout:

  • You have a heavy workload and work long hours
  • You struggle with work-life balance
  • You work in a helping profession, such as health care
  • You feel you have little or no control over your work
